I had this dream a few nights ago. I was sitting in the back seat of my brother's car and my other bro was in the passenger's seat. We were driving pretty fast on this highway that my bro's driven many times before. We're on this long sweeping turn when all these huge rocks appear on the road. We snag one of them and are forced off the highway and down a hill, car tumbling. I remember yelling at my bro's to cover the front and back of their heads with their arms to protect their heads. A few hundred feet later we're at the bottom of the hill with just a few minor cuts and are suddenly at our destination, which was a lake to spend the day swimming. And that's where it ended.

Any ideas?

being in a car represents your life journey, when someone else is driving you may not feel at the moment that you are completely in control of your life, as you are in the backseat, it is likely you are just going along for the ride, so to speak.

a change in direction is the long sweeping turn which also indicates not knowing what is round the bend or coming your way. the boulders are lifes obstacles things that alter your chosen path and in this case send you careering in a direction that makes you feel exposed and unsafe.

a lake represents the body of your life, that is to say the whole.

this dream seems to represent a concern over a decision that is already present or may need to made soon, the anxiety is that you may not manage so well and find yourself doing what you do not want to do, or following a path that does not reflect who you are.

the few minor cuts and bruises are an expression of life lessons and that all in all it is most likely that in life we will get a few scrapes and suffer a little damage, but in the end things usually end up ok, and it is just an inevitable part of life if we are to continue the journey.

when making a life choice it is not an ending but a beginning and so a new direction is undertaken, it can lead us where we did not plan to go but meeting the challenge of the unkown is what life is all about. weheee
