The other night I dreamt I was crossing a river, that had two dead trees for a bridge. After I crossed, I noticed, that the water in the river was still and black. Also it had more dead trees in it. As I was walking along the river I saw the river getting wider... I "imagined in my dream", that a little boy would jump in the water and swim in it. After this I saw a snake falling in the water, which immediately "swam" towards me. I was just stepping aside as the dream was over.
Any ideas what does this mean?

It means that you dreamt you were crossing a river, that had two dead trees for a bridge and after you crossed, you noticed, that the water in the river was still and black and in your dream it also had more dead trees in it. As you walked along the river you also saw the river getting wider and imagined in your dream that a little boy would jump in the water and swim in it. After this you saw a snake falling in the water, which immediately "swam" towards you then you were stepping aside as the dream was over. This all means that you are a living human and dreaming normal.

The water is the state of your life. The trees are decisions that you have made, and for some reason they have make you feel as if you are cut off from life, or whatever gives you nourishment. The blackness of the water was the state of your emotions and the stillness is the state of your energy. The little boy is you, and you see yourself getting into this, so perhaps you still have time to make a change, the snake is a women or job in your life that is approaching you with temptation. You may step out of the way and perhaps avoid the water(black state of life).

    Haha...well. I tried.

anyways it does sound like a warning of some sort....the best person to interpret your dreams is you, since some of the symbols will have meaning to you and only you.

What you thought is what you dream.
A bridge in dreams means a decision.
The black and still river water means trouble.
You imagine a boy jumping into the river and swim in it means you are thinking about giving up.
A snake approaching you means that you are going to be fall ill.

Your dreams indicate that you are making a important decision but enountered a lot of troubles. You want to give up and you are going to fall ill due to the stress.
